Our Glasses
Glasses are entirely donated by the Pasadena, Glendale, and La Canada communities.
Preparation
We sanitize and clean every spectacle and measure its prescription and itemize it in a searchable database
Distribution
We are then able to distribute these glasses freely to those in need when we have a matching pair
Thousand Thanks
Tremendous thanks to Kiwanis Club of La Canada, Flintridge Bookstore of La Canada, Jewel City Optometry of Glendale, Moradi Optometry, LCUSD, LAC+USC, USC medical students, and La Canada, Pasadena, and Glendale residents for generous donations and support for this project.
How to get glasses
There are two ways to get free glasses from Step to Specs
1. Come to one of our Free Glasses Clinics offered few times a year–bring your eye prescription.
2. If you are already at LA General Hospital for an eye appointment, ask your optometrist or doctor to look up Step To Specs glasses to see if there is a match.
Impact
